Pokemon GO Alola To Alola Special Research How To Get

Table of Contents

The Pokemon GO Season of Alola is nearing its conclusion and with this comes the fifth and final Special Research titled Alola to Alola for players to complete before it ends.

Over the last three months, Niantic has been celebrating the Alola Region with a Special Research themed around each of the four Alola islands, including bringing the four Tapu into the game as well.

After wrapping up the four island specific research, now the Alola to Alola Special Research is available for players to complete, but this one has a bit of a twist to it.

How To Get The Research

The Pokemon GO Alola to Alola Special Research will first become available on Wednesday, May 25, at 10:00 am local time and will be available to obtain through Wednesday, June 1, at 9:59 am local time.

However, just opening Pokemon GO during this time is not enough, as there is a prerequisite for unlocking the Alola to Alola Special Research.

To unlock the Alola to Alola Special Research, you need to have completed each of the four island-based research over the last three months, including A Melemele Adventure, An Akala Adventure, An Ula’Ula Adventure, and A Poni Adventure.

By completing all four of these by June 1 at 9:59 am, you will automatically unlock the Alola to Alola Special Research. If you do not have any of them, just signing into the game by June 1 at 9:59 am local time at this point should automatically unlock any of the four that you have missed, though that will require some time to complete.

If you just want to jump straight into the Alola to Alola Special Research, there is another method that will take you no time, but it comes with a cost attached. Starting on May 25 at 10:00 am local time, you can purchase this specific research from the in-game shop by spending $4.99.

For those that unlocked Alola to Alola the true way, you can instead purchase the research to get additional rewards in the game instead.
