The newest paid DLC in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Happy Home Paradise, is bringing plenty of new features to experiment with.

One new addition includes the ability to create counters and they come in a number of variations, so let’s take a look!

How To Get Counters In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

NOTE: COUNTERS AREN’T YET LIVE IN ANIMAL CROSSING: NEW HORIZONS. THEY WILL DROP ALONGSIDE THE HAPPY HOME PARADISE DLC OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS. WE’LL ADD ANY FURTHER INFORMATION TO THIS POST WHEN IT CROPS UP.

Creating kitchen spaces in ACNH will be even easier for players to do with the all-new counter feature.

As they say, the kitchen is the heart of the home, so why not make one in-game if you have the option?

The above and below images showcase the two different heights of counters available to the player.

We can’t wait to see what people do with them, maybe the smaller one could be a coffee table?

To place counters, find the “Other” section in your design menu, then simply find the counters which just look like a big square block of wood, otherwise, there is an alternative material in black and white (you can customise the colours).

To move the counter, press and hold A then use the analog sticks to rotate in whichever direction suits you! Be sure to keep the move button pressed whilst doing so.

Placed too many of the same item? No problem, we’ve all been there. Simply press Y when focusing on the counters and they should delete easily.
