Season 16, the Season of The Risen, has finally arrived to Destiny 2 with a bunch of new content for players to discover, including a brand new Seasonal Artifact.

Alongside the release of a brand new Season, Destiny 2 fans will be pleased to know The Witch Queen DLC is also finally available for download right now.

This season’s new artifact is the Synaptic Spear, which will be ready for players to level up and mod once obtained. So, here’s everything you need to know about the brand new Destiny 2 Seasonal Artifact for Season 16.

How To Get The Synaptic Spear Artifact In Destiny 2 Season 16

In order to get your hands on the new Synaptic Spear Artifact, players will need to first complete the first mission of The Witch Queen. Don’t worry if you haven’t purchased the new DLC though, as the introduction mission is completely free for all Destiny 2 players.

The official in-game description of the new Seasonal Artifact states “Unlock the Seasonal Artifact from Ikora in the Enclave on Mars during the free introduction to Destiny 2: The Witch Queen”.

During the first mission, players will be required to gather some side artifacts such as the Black Fleet Artifact. Once obtained players can take them to Ikora to receive the new Seasonal Artifact, the Synaptic Spear.
