Following a short delay for some important bug fixes, Season 2 of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone is ready for a big release at the beginning of next week.

The update will be bringing plenty of new content to both titles, including new weapons, vehicles, perks, operators, and more. But one thing fans are hoping for is further weapon balancing and bug fixes for both Vanguard and Warzone.

For those unaware, Season 2 was originally set to release at the beginning of February, but due to the two games being in a poor state, Activision made the tough decision to delay the release of the big update. This meant Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software could focus on deploying numerous fixes before the beginning of the new season.

Although both games are now in a much better state, there’s still plenty to be done. If you’re eager for all of Season 2’s new content and bug fixes, here’s the official release date and start time.

Vanguard and Warzone Season 2 Release Date and Start Time

The official release date for Season 2 of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone is Monday, February 14th, 2022. Vanguard players on all platforms are able to pre-load the Season 2 update right now.

Warzone players will, unfortunately, need to wait for the Season 2 update to go live at 9AM PT / 12PM ET / 5PM GMT on February 14th as this is the official start time for the new season.

Call of Duty: Vanguard & Warzone Season 2 Battle Pass

When Season 2 kicks off at the beginning of next week, players will have a brand new Battle Pass to level up and unlock rewards. Although there are some completely free tiers included in the pass, to get every reward available players will need to use their COD points to purchase the full Battle Pass.

According to the official Call of Duty Blog, fans can expect the following content in the Season 2 Battle Pass:

  • Two Hard-Hitting Free Functional Weapons. Upgrade your Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone Loadouts to a new caliber of lethality.        
  • Over 30 Free Items, Including Multiplayer Perks and Killstreaks. Unlock new Vanguard Multiplayer items like the lethal Sticky Bomb, the devastating Ball Turret Gunner, and two tactical Perks. Plus: Weapon Blueprints, Watches, and more, all from just playing the game and being part of a Clan.
  • Yeti’s First Operator: Anna Drake. Ready for vengeance — available as an Instant Reward with a Legendary “White Mirage” Skin at Tier 100.
  • A “Bundled Up” Legendary Skin, Free with Battle Pass Bundle. Pick up the Battle Pass Bundle to get access to all 100 Tiers, skip ahead to Tier 20, and grab a new flight suit for Wade that’s built for peak performance in harsh winter conditions.
  • 1,300 Total COD Points. Get300 free COD Points within the Battle Pass System, plus 1,000 more to unlock across the full Battle Pass.
