Worry not, 2.8 will Bring the Updates Back on Track

Meanwhile, Version 2.8 has been officially confirmed to be released on July 13, 2022. This will be on a Wednesday, and six weeks after the release of 2.7, which is the usual amount of time between each Genshin Impact update. The game won’t be getting the weeks lost after its unprecedented delay, but at least the delay won’t have any further repercussions on the schedule.

In any case, it’s great to see HoYoverse back into things again, as hopefully the Covid lockdown in Shanghai will be lifted soon.

Are you happy that Yelan is finally coming home, or would you have preferred for the delay to be a few weeks longer to get more Apologems? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
